Back to our series
Brothers and Sisters,
Greetings in Christ!
I’m writing to let you know that we’re returning to our main study in the Gospel According to John after our recent series break. These past few weeks have been a powerful time of reflection as we explored biblical teachings on church discipline and responded to the recent Typhoon Kristine, which devastated Camarines Sur. I’m grateful for each of your deep engagements as we sought to apply God’s Word in light of these realities.
During our break, we examined church discipline as a call to holiness, an expression of love and restoration within the body of Christ, and a dire warning to those who would not repent and those who would divide the church.
We also reflected on the impact of Typhoon Kristine, considering how our faith compels us to serve, pray for, and support those affected. It’s been a time of solemn reflection, reminding us of God’s sovereignty even in times of suffering and His call for the church to be a light in times of darkness. We appreciate those who volunteered their time and all those who shared resources in our time of need in Naga City and the other parts of Camarines Sur.
As we return to the Gospel of John, we’ll continue to encounter the Lord’s grace and truth in every chapter. John’s gospel offers tender and powerful glimpses into Jesus’ life and ministry, leading us deeper into the mystery of the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us. My prayer is that this journey through John will renew our faith, deepen our understanding of Jesus’ identity, and anchor us in the hope only He can give.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s continue to walk together in the Word, seeking to know Christ more fully and live out His calling.
