Enter the King
Mary treated Jesus as King when she poured her expensive oil and wiped His feet with her hair. The crowd would acknowledge the same thing. The crowd would call Jesus the King of Israel when they met Him with palm leaves. According to the narrative of the apostle, John the Beloved, Jesus is more than a King. He is Messiah, Word of God, Lamb of God, Bread of Life, the Resurrection, the Life, Son of God, and Son of Man. Jesus would fulfill prophecy by riding a donkey. Every detail of the prophecy was fulfilled. Jesus is indeed the Messiah, promised since ancient times.
