Father's Gift
Join us as we continue our series on the Good Shepherd. Christ is the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for the sheep, and He raised His life again. There is only One Good Shepherd because there is no one who could do what He did, which was to suffer and die for the sins of His people, then defeat death by rising on the third day. According to the Lord Jesus, His sheep were given by His Father, who is greater than all, and they are One. The Father and the Good Shepherd secure the sheep. Therefore, no one can take them away. One sign of a genuine sheep is that they hear the Good Shepherd’s voice, and they follow. The voice of the Good Shepherd is His Word. All who genuinely belong to the Good Shepherd will hear and follow His Word.
