Hello Brothers and Sisters,
God has graciously brought us to a milestone — 100 sermons in The Gospel According to John. Though we’ve completed the verse-by-verse journey, there's still much more to revisit and reflect upon. For now, we’ll take a brief pause before diving into the major themes of John’s Gospel, such as the Deity of Christ, the Holy Trinity, and God’s unfolding redemptive plan.
Recently, one of our brothers, Chef Roy Resurreccion, shared his testimony — a powerful story of drifting away from God’s Word and the grace that gently brought him back. His journey is a timely reminder of the restorative purpose behind church discipline, and how God often meets us in our brokenness with healing.
In light of that, this week’s sermon aligns with his testimony. It explores a difficult yet redemptive path — a pain that restores. Or more specifically, a shame that restores.
